  • 1. Place the Order

    Once you have contacted me, I will call you to learn about the commission and ask for photographs and perhaps a video.

  • 2. Become Acquainted

    I like to get to know more about the person I am drawing. And may ask to speak with you by phone or in person (depending on location).

  • 3. Artwork is Created

    I get out my chalk pastels and work to capture the essence of the subject.

  • 4. Contact

    Once I am satisfied with my work I will send you a photo. I make sure that I have captured the person's likeness by asking for your feedback and making changes if necessary.

  • 5. Framing

    My chalk pastel portraits are generally completed in 2 months. Then, I work with you to pick an appropriate frame for the art.

The cost of framing is included. Shipping is by location.
